ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 13. Precious metals prices in Turkmenistan showed moderate fluctuations throughout the week, with gold nearing record highs by Friday, Trend reports, citing the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Gold prices rose from $3,302.61 per ounce on July 7 to $3,332.63 on July 11, marking a weekly increase of nearly $30. The highest daily price was recorded on Friday, reflecting broader international trends amid geopolitical uncertainty and shifting investor sentiment.
Silver also gained value during the week, increasing from $36.21 to $37.46 per ounce, with a notable surge on July 11, as industrial demand remained resilient.
In the platinum group metals category, platinum hovered between $1,352 and $1,371, showing moderate stability. Palladium, on the other hand, saw more pronounced volatility, climbing from $1,109.86 to $1,159.81 over five days.
The prices were determined in Turkmen manat based on the morning quotes of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and serve as official reference rates for domestic financial institutions and import-export operations involving precious metals.
This weekly bulletin underscores Turkmenistan’s continued monitoring of global commodity markets in alignment with international benchmarks.
