Azerbaijan, Lankaran, 19 April / cor. Trend P. Aliyeva/ The entrepreneurs of Lankaran region of Azerbaijan were granted loans worth AZN6.67mln in first quarter of 2008, said Ilkin Rahimov, the Deputy Head of Lankaran City Administration on economic affairs.
According to Rahimov, some AZN6.05mln was granted to the banks with AZN5.23mln of the volumw accounting for short-term credits and AZN3mln - for long-term credits.
The population of the region made a deposit in the banks worth of AZN126,000, $825,000 and €1000 during the first three months of 2008.
