Problems in Azerbaijan's target public assistance is less by 2 percent compared to other countries, Azerbaijani Labour and Social Protection Minister Fizuli Alakparov said at a 2nd International Scientific and Practice Conference "Social assistance, social rehabilitation: continuous development".
Azerbaijan is implementing the target public assistance efficiently. Alakparov said that a total of 170,000 families receive public assistance.
Azerbaijan introduced the target public assistance system in 2006. A total of 173,000 families (791,000 people) receive public assistance in Azerbaijan.
