The Azerbaijani National Entrepreneurship Support Fund (NESF) under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry plans to issue about 35 million manat under favorable conditions, Executive Director of the Fund, Shirzad Abdullayev said on Sept.2.
So far, the Fund has financed about 1,181 projects worth 65 million manat in total. The active phase is expected to come in September, because the implementation of projects on construction of refrigerator storage complexes and grain storages is scheduled to launch in the same month, Abdullayev added.
The Fund forecasts the portfolio to reach about 100 million manat by Oct.1, Abdullayev said.
In 2009, it is planned to issue favorable loans worth 130 million through the Fund, 74 million of this amount fell on the budget funds and the rest 56 million manat to previously issued loan resources.
On Sept.2, the official exchange rate is 0.804 manat to $1.
