The Foreign Investors Council's 25th plenary meeting will be held in Astana on May 22, 2012, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said during a closing speech at the council's 24th meeting.
"This year, we have planned a large number of economic high-level forums and events to mark the 20th anniversary of independence," he said. "So, I propose to hold the following 25th plenary meeting of our council in Astana on May 22, 2012."
The president also invited the members of the foreign investors council to participate in the next Astana Economic Forum.
"The meeting will be held on the eve of the fifth Astana Economic Forum," Nazarbayev said.
