Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine will increase grain production to 187.8 million tons in 2011-2012 agricultural year compared to 128.6 in the 2010-2011 agricultural year, International rating agency Fitch forecasts, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
The 2011-2012 agricultural year runs from July 2011 to June 2012.
Thus, these three countries will produce three percent of world grain production in the current agricultural year.
Meanwhile, according to the forecast of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Russia's, Ukraine's and Kazakhstan's common grain export can reach 36.5 million tons in the 2011-2012 agricultural year (2.7 times higher than last year's export).
