The second investment forum within international cooperation programme in transport TRACECA (Europe-Caucasus-Asia) is scheduled for Feb.28, 2012 in Brussels, TRACECA national secretary from Azerbaijan Akif Mustafayev said told Trend on Tuesday.
He said 12 investment projects from 13 TRACECA member countries (except Iran) will be represented at the forum.
"At the forum Azerbaijan will be represented by such an important project as the reconstruction and upgrading of the Baku-Boyuk Kesik railway section," Mustafayev said.
The first TRACECA investment forum was held in Brussels in 2010.
TRACECA is an international transport cooperation program between the EU and its Partner countries in Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia. It has a permanent Secretariat in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Currently, TRACECA member states are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Iran.
