Esfahan Oil Refining Company has been introduced as the top Iranian company by sales with 176 trillion rials (about $13.8 billion) revenues in the previous calendar year which ended on March 20, 2012, ISNA reported.
Iran Khodro car manufacturing group and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company rank next.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company was the leading exporter with $2.9 billion worth of exports.
The highest numbers of personnel were related to Iran Khodro car manufacturing group, Saipa car manufacturing group, and Saderat Bank, with 53,000, 43,000, and 33,000 personnel.
The total sales of top 100 Iranian companies in the past calendar year amounted to 2640 trillion rials (about $215 billion), IRNA reported.
The figure showed 30 percent growth year on year.
