Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met CEO of French CIFAL company Gilles Remy and Chairman of VINCI Construction Grands Projets company Alain Bonnot, the Turkmen government said in a message Aug. 31.
Gilles Remy also heads the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce, according to the message.
The businessmen expressed interest in strengthening their positions in the promising Turkmen market and continuing the productive partnership established over the years, and which is being built on the principles of trust and mutual benefit, the message said.
An exchange of views on the prospects for cooperation was held. Energy industry, transport infrastructure and construction were defined as main directions for the development of business relations.
“Confirming the intention to continue to participate in the implementation of projects of national and regional importance, the businessmen made a number of concrete proposals,” the message said.
