Products worth 571.3 million manats were produced by metallurgical companies in Azerbaijan in January-September 2018, reads a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says the output of metallurgical industry increased by 15.7 percent, while the production of finished goods grew by 7.4 percent in January-September 2018.
Azerbaijan produced 243,900 tons of fittings in January-September 2018, which is 37.1 percent more than in January-September 2017.
In January-September 2018, 37,500 tons of steel pipes were produced in Azerbaijan, 0.3 percent more than in January-September 2017.
The steel casting production stood at 308,300 tons in January-September 2018, which is 3 percent more than in January-September 2017.
