It is estimated that 6,000 tons of rapeseed will be harvested in Bileh Savar County of Iran’s Ardabil Province, said Hassan Qobadi, Governor of Bileh Savar County, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
According to Qobadi, rapeseed was planted in a 2,000-hectare area. He added that the sowing area of rapeseed in Bileh Savar has increased in the past 2 years.
Rapeseed oil has fatty acids, and contains no cholesterol.
Bileh Savar and Parsabad counties are the two main agricultural centers of Ardabil Province. Bileh Savar County is located on the border with Azerbaijan.
