A poultry farm was built in the village of Variani, Gori region of Georgia, with the financial support of the Bank of Georgia in the amount of 75,000 lari ($23,357), Trend reports via Georgian media.
The farm is located on 813 sq.m. and is already selling eggs.
On the farm, 3,800 chickens are raised, which produce 3,600 eggs per day.
The total cost of the project is 150,000 lari ($46,715). The company currently employs 5 people.
"Supporting local businesses remains a constant priority of the Bank of Georgia. We do not stop and continue to support similar projects throughout the country,” said Merab Akhvlediani, Director of Retail Banking Services of the Bank of Georgia.
