Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi attended a meeting of the Government Economic Coordination Headquarters, stressed the adoption of appropriate and practical mechanisms for the development and prosperity of non-oil exports.
"We must adopt policies to encourage the development of non-oil exports and the return of export earned foreign exchange to the country's economic cycle,” said President Ebrahim Raisi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Pointing to the need to adopt appropriate solutions to remove obstacles to exporters activities, the President called the judicial punishment as a way to facilitate the return of export earned foreign currency.
The President mentioned the supervision and obtaining valid guarantees as one of the solutions to oblige the implementation of returning the export earned foreign exchange obligations.
The Central Bank presented a report on the performance of the export sector at the meeting.
