BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. Iran’s export of non-oil products to Uzbekistan increased by 48.9 percent in value and 53.6 percent in volume during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 203,000 tons of non-oil products worth $131 million to Uzbekistan within 5 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, Iran’s non-oil exports to Uzbekistan stood at 132,000 tons worth $88 million.
Alone in the 5th month (July 23 through August 22, 2023), Iran exported 39,100 tons of goods worth approximately $24.7 million to Uzbekistan.
Iran mainly exported milk and dairy products, petrochemical products, various types of pipes, glassware, agricultural equipment, etc. to Uzbekistan during those five months.
Overall, Iran exported 55.9 million tons of non-oil products worth $19.3 billion during the first five months of the current Iranian year.
This is an increase of 26.5 percent in value and a decrease of 8.55 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
