Turkmenistan increased gas export to Iran by 35 percent during 10 months of the current fiscal year, which started March 21, 2015.
Iran imported 7.353 billion cubic meters of gas from Turkmenistan in the 10 months of the current fiscal year, said Iran's Oil Ministry in an energy summary report obtained by Trend.
The figure for the same period of last year was 5.46 billion cubic meters.
During the mentioned period, Iran produced about 166 billion cubic meters of gas, or about 5 percent more than in the same period of last year.
