In January-August 2019, Azerbaijan exported 15.83 million tons of oil, which is 16.7 percent more compared to January-August 2018, Trend reports referring to the country's State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in total terms, the exports of oil and oil products amounted to $12.274 billion (an increase of 3.8 percent). The share of oil products in the country's exports is 90.78 percent.
In January-August 2019, total export from Azerbaijan in monetary terms amounted to $13.5 billion, which is 5 percent more compared to the same period last year.
