Standard & Poor's (S&P) international rating agency expects Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) to grow by an average of 3.9 percent in 2022-2024, Trend reports with reference to the agency.
GDP in Azerbaijan will reach $45 billion this year, the report said.
Real GDP growth is expected to rise to 2.1 percent in 2021, slowing down in 2020.
S&P raised the outlook on Azerbaijan's ratings from "negative" to "stable" by maintaining long-term and short-term sovereign credit ratings in foreign and local currency at "BB + / B".
