VTB Bank Azerbaijan completed 2020 with a net profit of 3.9 million manat ($2.3 million), Trend reports with reference to the financial report of the bank.
Problem debt as of 2020 decreased by more than 140 million manat ($82 million) compared to 2019.
Interest income amounted to 10.4 million manat ($6.1 million) in 2020 and increased by 25 percent compared to 2019.
Interest expenses at the end of last year amounted to 3.2 million manat ($1.9 million).
The bank carried out big work aimed at expanding remote channels of access to the bank's services in 2020, which, on the one hand, contributes to an increase in the quality of service, and on the other hand, contributes to the solution of state tasks to reduce the share of cash payments in the economy.
The bank will continue to actively work on digital transformation this year.
