BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. The volume of remittances by individuals from Azerbaijan to the UAE amounted to $14.6 million by the end of 2023, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicator increased by 65.04 percent compared to the indicator for 2022.
The share of transfers to the UAE in the total volume of remittances is 2.7 percent.
Meanwhile, the volume of remittances by individuals from Azerbaijan to foreign countries amounted to $550.1 million by the end of 2023.
To note, the volume of remittances from Azerbaijan in 2022 amounted to $664.7 million.
