Azerbaijan imported 426,174 mobile phones and other mobile devices worth $40,705.7 million in January-July 2018, the country’s State Statistics Committee told Trend Sept. 14.
The number of imported mobile phones increased by 18.8 percent in January-July 2018 compared to 358,737 mobile phones in January-July 2017. In terms of value, the figure also increased by nearly 26.8 percent.
Since early 2018, over 60,000 mobile devices were imported into the country monthly. The monthly volume of the mobile phone market exceeded $5.8 million.
