Azerpocht State Enterprise commissioned 61 postal offices in Azerbaijan. The construction work covers all regions, Azerpocht told Trend.
The work on construction and renewal is aimed at improvement of postal services in the regions in the relation to the World Bank project on development of financial services.
The State Enterprise noted that they will construct 80 similar objects till late 2005.
Construction of the objects means opening of new jobs. Only this project envisages opening of 1,000 new jobs.
The enterprise opened 178 new jobs from early 2005.
Construction of postal offices is carried out within the state program on social and economic development of the regions for 2004-2008 and the action plan of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry.
