Plans of Azerbaijan’s ADY Container LLC for this year have been considered, information on transported goods for 2019-2020, as well as information on the most popular goods in Azerbaijan and those exported from it, has been announced, Balakhan Nazarov, the company’s public relations specialist, said in an interview with Trend.
How many tons of cargo were transported in 2019?
Last year, 45,081 containers or 163,779 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) of cargo were transported.
How many containers were exported and imported?
Import - 20,786 TEU
Export - 14,748 TEU
Transit - 28,245 TEU.
From January through February this year, 5,872 containers were transported.
Import – 2,192 containers
Export – 1,575 containers
Transit – 2,105 containers.
What goods prevail in Azerbaijan’s export and import?
The goods most in demand from Turkey are men's, women's and children's clothes; from China - goods of metal origin for further processing, while building materials mainly come from Russia.
Exported goods from Azerbaijan are most in demand in China, Turkey and Russia and include juices, mineral waters, chemical products, vegetables and fruits.

What development goals and objectives are set before the company for this year?
One of them is to increase traffic by 50 percent. Given the statistics of past years, this is quite possible.
