ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 7. In May 20205, the port of Kuryk in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau Region reached a record monthly cargo transshipment volume since the beginning of its operations, Trend reports via Kazakhstan Railways.
According to the information, the transshipment volume reached 267,000 tons — a 7 percent increase over the previous record of 251,000 tons, set in June 2023.
Moreover, the main share of export cargo consisted of grain crops (barley), petroleum products (fuel oil), and chemical products.
