March 5 is marked as the Day of civil registry offices' employees in Kazakhstan. This year Kazakh civil registry bodies celebrate their 90th anniversary, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
Civil registry bodies were created in Kazakhstan in 1921. Birth, marriage and other important events in people's life are recorded by employees of this field.
According to the Justice Department of Kazakhstan, during 20 years of independence, Astana civil registry offices recorded over 90,000 births and more than 50,000 marriages.
