BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Kyrgyzstan's vegetable oil production volume increased in the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports with the reference to the National Statistical Committee.
The total volume of vegetable oil production from January through March 2022 amounted to 1,800 tons, which is an increase of 20 percent compared to 1,500 tons in the same period of 2021.
Price for sunflower oil in the first quarter of 2022 in Kyrgyzstan, was 179.9 soms ($2.2) per 1 liter, which is 15.2 percent more than 156.1 soms ($1.9) in the same period of 2021.
