BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. Kyrgyzstan increased exports of petroleum products from January through July 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, the value of Kyrgyzstan's petroleum products exports in 7 months of 2022 amounted to $80.6 million, which is almost 2.5 times more than in the same period of last year ($33.2 million).
During the reporting period, Türkiye ($32 million) and China ($10.3 million) became the main importing countries of petroleum products from Kyrgyzstan.
Moreover, Kyrgyzstan in 7 months of this year also exported petroleum products to Malta in the amount of $8.1 million, Belgium ($5.3 million), the Netherlands ($4.4 million) and other countries.
Overall, the export of goods from Kyrgyzstan from January through July 2022 totaled $1 billion, which is a decrease of 36.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($1.6 billion).
