BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 29. Kyrgyzstan exported 51.24 million liters of gasoline from January through September 2024, which is 15 times more than the 3.381 million liters exported during the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the value of the exports reached $23.413 million, an increase of 17 times compared to $1.376 million in the corresponding months last year.
During the reporting period, Kyrgyzstan exported 45.556 million liters of gasoline to Afghanistan, valued at $20.845 million. Uzbekistan imported more than 5.684 million liters worth $2.567 million.
In September, Kyrgyzstan exported a total of 15.927 million liters of gasoline, worth $7.28 million.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $12 billion in the first nine months of 2024, a rise of 8.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Exports totaled $2.7 billion, which is a 28.2 percent increase, while imports amounted to $9.2 billion, growing by 3.7 percent.
