BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5. Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan for the extraction and export of natural gas from January through October 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on November 4.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas in Turkmenistan was fulfilled by 114.5 percent, and for the production of liquefied gas - 107.8 percent.
Moreover, the Deputy Chairman noted that the plan for the export of natural gas was fulfilled by 125.6 percent.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
