ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 6. Two Turkmenistan's livestock farms located in the Lebap region in the east of the country have exceeded the plan for obtaining lambs this season, Trend reports.
According to official data, 'Serdar' livestock farms of Charjew district and 'Tallymerjen' of Hojambaz district were the first to finish the season, receiving 2,937 lambs and 14,987 lambs, respectively.
Thanks to the coordinated work, the livestock breeders of the Garagum farm in the Halach district of the Lebap region managed to receive more than 28,080 lambs this season, and the livestock breeders of the 'Jeyhun' farms in the Sayat district and 'Köýtendag' farms in the Koytendag district, respectively, 19,981 lambs and 7,927 lambs.
Meanwhile, at the moment, a lot of work is being done in Turkmenistan to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, and strengthen the feed base of the industry.
At the same time, Most of the livestock production is accounted for by the private sector in Turkmenistan.
