Chinese, South Korean and Japanese companies have signed 10 memorandums, under which they implement various projects in the Tashkent region with the value of about $250 million, Uzbek media outlets reported.
The documents were signed within the international business forum "Doing business in the Tashkent region".
The event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions and trade attaches from over 35 countries of the world, as well as business representatives from the countries such as Iran, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Great Britain, France, Germany etc.
Furthermore, during B2B meetings, a number of bilateral documents were signed on the establishment of an industrial zone in the Tashkent region of a number of Chinese enterprises; agreements were reached to increase export of agricultural products to Russia, to place in FEZ “Angren” new enterprises functioning in the chemical industry, construction materials production, as well as to organize clusters in the textile industry and agriculture.
