Banks of Uzbekistan received 87 trillion soums ($ 8 billion), paid through payment terminals from January through October 2021, Trend reports via the Uzbek Central Bank.
This figure increased by 33.8 percent compared to the indicator of the same period last year (65 trillion soums or $ 6 billion).
The payments through payment terminals received by the National Bank of Uzbekistan for the corresponding period amounted to 5.7 trillion soums ($532.6 million).
For Uzpromstroybank this indicator amounted to 5.4 trillion soums ($506.6 million).
Among all banks in Uzbekistan for 10 months of 2021, most of the receipts were received by Alokabank (13.2 trillion soums or $1.2 billion).
