TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 19. Uzbekistan Railways JSC and China's NORINCO International Cooperation ltd. discussed issues related to the possibility of mutual cooperation, Trend reports.
According to the official source, these issues were discussed by Acting Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Railways Joint Stock Company Zufar Narzullayev and representatives of NORINCO International Cooperation.
During the meeting, representatives of the company spoke about proposals related to projects that can be implemented jointly with Uzbekistan Railways JSC. In particular, proposals were made on the rail supply project and the creation of a joint venture based on the production and construction of railcars in Uzbekistan.
In turn, the management of Uzbekistan Railways JSC showed great interest in the presentation and carefully listened to all the proposals of the Chinese side. The Uzbek side expressed readiness to study the proposals and discuss them at the internal level. Decisions on further cooperation will be made after careful analysis and discussion.
Both sides expressed hope for the successful development of cooperation and the achievement of common goals in the field of railway infrastructure.
