TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 24. Uzbekistan produced 424,800 tons of oil from January through July 2024, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this indicator has decreased by 7.3 percent over the same period last year (456,000 tons in January-July 2023).
At the same time, the country’s production of oil increased to 60,200 tons in July 2024, compared to 59,600 tons in June 2024.
Meanwhile, the production volume of oil in Uzbekistan amounted to 364,600 tons of oil from January through June 2024. This figure shows a 7.3 percent decrease compared to the same period last year (391,300 tons in January-July 2023).
Furthermore, the country produced oil in the amount of 770,100 tons in 2023. This indicator has decreased by 2.2 percent year-on-year (787,800 tons in 2022).
Oil production in Uzbekistan peaked in May 2023 at 69,100 tons, while the lowest value was recorded in December at 60,800 tons.
