TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 19. TBC Uzbekistan (the leading digital banking ecosystem in Central Asia) has launched its own payments processing center, the bank told Trend.
This new infrastructure will enable TBC to speed up the launch of new products and services as it continues to expand in Uzbekistan, the most populous country in the region.
The custom-designed processing center gives TBC full control over payment processing, allowing the company to introduce new products more quickly and efficiently. This move is a key part of TBC’s strategy to grow and diversify its offerings for both individuals and businesses.
The new center will handle all types of TBC’s payment transactions, including peer-to-peer transfers, card payments, and QR code payments. It will also enhance TBC’s data analytics capabilities, helping the bank understand customer and merchant needs better, which will aid in developing new products for consumers and small businesses.
"The launch of this center is an important step in the bank's future plans. By building this infrastructure in-house, TBC can move faster and on a larger scale to introduce innovative financial products to the growing Uzbek market,” the CEO of TBC Group in Uzbekistan Nika Kurdiani said.
The new center will also give TBC greater flexibility, allowing it to introduce new payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal as soon as they become available in Uzbekistan, along with other exciting features. The launch of the processing center will not only strengthen TBC Uzbekistan, which includes TBC Bank Uzbekistan, Payme, and Payme Nasiya, but also contribute to the development of the country’s overall payment infrastructure.
