BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 16. Licenses have been issued for the establishment of 190 enterprises in central Iran's Qom Province during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024), Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Qom Province Akbar Abdali told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, it was decided to invest 141 trillion rials (about $317 million) to establish the mentioned number of enterprises. With the establishment of the enterprises, 7,400 people will be employed.
Abdali stated that licenses related to industrial activities in Qom province are issued considering the environment and other issues. The activities of manufacturing and industrial enterprises in industrial parks in Qom Province are at the center of attention.
The official noted that loans worth 1.32 trillion rials (about $2.96 million) were granted to support enterprises in Qom Province during six months.
To note, a total of seven industrial parks exist in Iran's Qom Province. About 2,000 enterprises operate in these industrial parks.
