The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for May 13:
Export floor: Offers 2,448 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 157,089 tons of chemicals, polymers, bitumen and vacuum bottom as well as sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,160 tons of wire copper, 2,000 tons of cathode copper, 20,000 tons of low-grade copper, 10,000 tons of bloom ingots, 330 tons of rebar, 5,000 tons of sponge iron and 140 tons of molybdenum sulphur.
Agriculture floor: Offers 108,000 day-old chickens, 6,750 tons of sugar, 17,000 tons of wheat, and 1,500 tons of crude vegetable oil and 1,000 tons of date.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 1,000 tons of palm oil, 312 tons of metal scraps, 300 tons of suger, 75 tons of ferrosilicon and 4,400 tons of steel profile basket.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
