During the six months (March 21-September 22) of this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), the value of products exported via the customs in Iran’s Hormozgan province increased by 145 percent compared to the same period last year, said Khalil Ghasemi, chairman of the Hormozgan Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, Trend reports via IRNA.
Ghasemi said that products worth $15.2 billion were exported during the reporting period, and this exceeds the plan ($12.5 billion) by 22 percent.
The chairman noted that the exported products mainly included iron ore, ethylene polymers, bitumen, mining and chemical fertilizers.
“These products were exported to China, the UAE, Thailand, India, Oman and Ghana,” Ghasemi said.
