Vaccine, the basic material for medicine, different types of medicine, machinery, and equipment for the production of vaccine are considered urgent and would be released immediately without customs formality, said the technical deputy of Iran Customs Administration.
"Following the Supreme Leader comments on providing vaccine from import or production, any imported commodity related to COVID-19 should be immediately released without being unloaded in warehouses and without customs formalities by obtaining a permit from the Ministry of Health," said Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"The necessary opportunity will be given to commodity owners and statistics of implemented actions would be reported to the department, while the situation has become critical, no delay or halt in this regard is accepted from any organization. Relevant operators are obligated to report any violation or delay," he added.
