Muslim militants in the southern Philippines on Thursday released one of three Red Cross workers they have been holding captive for more than two months, the military said.
Major General Nelson Allaga said Filipino Mary Jean Lacaba was freed by Abu Sayyaf rebels on Jolo island, 1,000 kilometres south of Manila, reported dpa.
