Some 10.4 million tons of cargo were transshipped via the Turkish port of Kocaeli from January through February 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on April 21.
Some 881,176 tons of cargo were transported through the Kocaeli port by ships flying the Turkish flag while by ships flying the flags of other countries – 9.5 million tons.
Some 178,718 tons of cargo were transited over the reporting period, the ministry noted.
Some 58.3 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through February 2021.
The ships flying the Turkish flag transported 4.8 million tons of goods while ships flying the flags of other countries – 53.6 million tons.
During the reporting period, the Turkish ports transited 11.9 million tons of cargo.
The Turkish ports handled 29.2 million tons of cargo in February 2021.
The ships flying the Turkish flag transported 2.2 million tons while the ships flying the flags of other countries – 26.9 million tons.
The Turkish ports transited 5.8 million tons of cargo in February.
