BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. A total of 52 projects will be implemented in Türkiye, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
The ministry noted that the total cost of the projects underway is 1.2 billion Turkish lira ($63.4 million).
"All the projects planned for this year will be implemented at the expense of public funds," said the statement.
Last year, a total of 1.5 billion Turkish liras ($79.3 million) were allocated for tourism projects in Türkiye, which were fully covered by the state budget.
The big, historically significant cities of Istanbul and Antalya, as well as the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea coasts, are the most widely-liked travel destinations in Türkiye. The majority of visitors are from Germany and Russia.
