BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. Turkish exports of carpets to the US rose 28.6 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and reached $210 million, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
"Türkiye exported carpets worth $68.6 million to the US in March 2024, up 3 percent compared to the same period last year," the ministry said.
In January-March 2024, Turkish carpet exports to global markets rose 23.9 percent to $746.6 million compared to the same period in 2023.
Türkiye exported carpet products worth $247.3 million in March this year, down 5.7 percent year-on-year.
In the last 12 months (March 2023-March 2024), Türkiye exported carpet products worth $2.9 billion.
