BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Turkish exports of leather goods to Azerbaijan decreased by 17 percent year-on-year to $12.6 million from January through September 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“In September this year, Türkiye exported $1.7 million worth of leather goods to Azerbaijan, which is 19.6 percent less than in September last year,” the statement of the ministry says.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of leather goods decreased 21.3 percent year-on-year to 1.1 billion from January through September 2024.
“Türkiye exported leather products worth $132 million in September this year, which is 16.7 percent less than in September last year,” the statement of the ministry reads.
To note, Türkiye exported leather products worth $1.5 billion in the last 12 months (from September 2023 through September 2024).
