Türkiye sees modest boost in leather exports to Kazakhstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 6. Turkish exports of leather goods to Kazakhstan increased by 9.2 percent year-on-year to $44.9 million from January through November 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.

“In November this year, Türkiye exported $8.3 million worth of leather goods to Kazakhstan, which is 52.4 percent less than in November last year,” the statement of the ministry says.

Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of leather goods decreased 18.7 percent year-on-year to 1.4 billion from January through November 2024.

“Türkiye exported leather products worth $116.6 million in November this year, which is 5.8 percent less than in November last year,” the statement of the ministry reads.

To note, Türkiye exported leather products worth $1.5 billion in the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024).
