BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. Türkiye's leather product exports to Turkmenistan totaled $4.2 million from January through November 2024, marking a 29.9 percent growth compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said in its statement, Trend reports.
"This November, Türkiye exported $242,000 worth of leather products to Turkmenistan, showing a 1.5 percent rise from November 2023," the statement reads.
To note, Türkiye's total leather exports for 11 months of 2024 dropped by 18.7 percent year-on-year to $1.4 billion.
In November of this year, the country’s leather exports abroad reached $116.68 million, down 5.8 percent compared to the previous November.
During the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024), Türkiye’s leather exports to foreign markets stood at $1.5 billion.
