BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 11. The volume of carpet exports from Türkiye to Kazakhstan from January through November 2024 decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the same period last year, totaling $19.7 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry said in its statement, Trend reports.
"In November this year, Türkiye exported carpets to Kazakhstan worth $2.6 million, a 7.1 percent decline compared to November 2023," the statement from the ministry reads.
Despite the drop in exports to Kazakhstan, Türkiye’s overall carpet exports increased by 5 percent in January-November 2024, reaching $2.62 billion. However, November 2024 saw a slight decrease of 2.6 percent, with total carpet exports amounting to $259.9 million.
From November 2023 through November 2024, Türkiye exported carpets worth $2.88 billion.
