BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 10. The export of leather goods from Türkiye to the US from January through November 2024 decreased by 10.3 percent compared to the same month in 2023, totaling $70.9 million, the data of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
Türkiye exported $9.4 million worth of leather goods to the US in November 2024, down 14.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of leather products to global markets from January through November 2024 dropped 18.7 percent to $1.4 billion compared to the same month in 2023.
However, Türkiye exported $116.6 million worth of leather products in November this year, which was 5.8 percent less than in November last year.
To note, Türkiye exported leather products worth $1.5 billion in the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024).
