BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 8. Türkiye's leather goods exports took a hit from January through December 2024, dropping by 17.9 percent compared to the previous year, landing at $1.5 billion, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry.
In the interim, Türkiye's exportation of leather commodities reached a valuation of $110.1 million in December of the preceding year, reflecting a decrement of 4.6 percent compared to the figures from December 2023.
To note, in the fiscal year spanning December 2023 through December 2024, Türkiye's exportation of leather goods reached an impressive valuation of $1.5 billion.
