BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 7. Türkiye's steel exports to global markets saw a healthy uptick of 8.7 percent from January through December 2024, compared to the same period in 2023, hitting a total value of $16.1 billion, Trend reports via the Turkish Trade Ministry's data.
"In December of the current fiscal year, the valuation of Turkish steel exports reached $1.4 million, reflecting a notable uptick of 7.3 percent in comparison to the corresponding month of the previous year," the ministry said.
To note, the aggregate value of Türkiye's steel exports to international markets over the preceding 12-month period (December 2023–December 2024) reached a substantial $16.1 billion.
