BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 8. Turkish exports of leather goods to Kazakhstan increased by 13.4 percent year-on-year to $47.9 million from January through December 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“In December this year, Türkiye exported $2.9 million worth of leather goods to Kazakhstan, which is 16.8 percent more than in December last year,” the ministry statement said.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of leather goods decreased 17.9 percent year-on-year to $1.5 billion from January through December 2024.
“Türkiye exported leather products worth $110.1 million in December this year, which is 4.6 percent less than in December last year,” the ministry's statement reads.
To note, Türkiye exported leather products worth $1.5 billion in the last 12 months (from December 2023 through December 2024).
